Purpose and Objective:
This course brings students chances to discover, design, manufacture and evaluate the prototype. Student can work as designer/CNC programmer to design some prototype.
Particularly target: Student from 16 – 18 years old
Knowledge:
- Understand about density, weight, force and pressure
- Understand about mechanics and electronics
- Discover the CNC lathe machine
- Understand the engineering design process
- Know about 2D standard and isometric
Skills:
- Know about the function of CNC lathe machine
- Design based on CAD/CAM software
- Do the CNC program on the CNC Lathe machine via CNC Lathe software
- Operate the CNC Lathe
- Select the right cutting tool base on parameters.
- Apply the engineering design process
