CNC Milling

Purpose and objectives:

This course provides students chance to explore, design, manufacture and evaluate the prototype. Students will play the role of a designer/CNC programmer to make the prototype.

Particularly target: students from 16 – 18 years old

Knowledge:

• Understand the knowledge of density, weight, force, pressure
• Understand about mechanical, electrical engineering
• Explore the CNC mill
• Present the engineering design process

Skills:

• Recognize the function of CNC mill machine
• Design a model using CAD software
• Program the CNC mill machine with the CNC mill software
• Operate the CNC mill machine
